Hyperledger Aries is a standard for cross-network transfer of verified credentials and has been favoured by regulators in recent years.

Canada’s Verifiable Organizations Network utilises VCs to issue digital licenses, permits, and registrations to legal entities, all of which are compatible with wallets that support Hyperledger Aries. The network enjoys the support of the provincial governments of British Columbia and Ontario, along with the federal government of Canada.

In Europe, the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure is similarly using verifiable credentials to issue official documents from public institutions such as digital diplomas and social security passes. In Germany, the Federal Chancellery launched a DID project in 2021, which is also anchored on the use of verified credentials and Aries-compatible wallets.

These initiatives across Canada and Europe highlight their national significance and the importance of compatibility with Aries standards for international SSI Networks such as TRRUE.

The TRRUE Investment Platform can leverage SSI technology and enhanced ESG reporting to establish an efficient and transparent space for impact investing. By using modern DLT innovation to address challenges that are inherent in traditional crowdfunding models, TRRUE can provide investors with unprecedented control and transparency over their investments.

This infrastructure not only revolutionises the crowdfunding landscape but also has the potential to unlock significant value and impact across the international ESG sector with services and frameworks for more compliant management and reporting.
