The key benefit of developing TRRUE Chain using Substrate will be interoperability across the layer 0 infrastructure of Polkadot. Since its launch in 2020, Polkadot has established itself as a leading layer 0 protocol, using a central Relay Chain to consolidate transactional data from a range of connected parachains, parathreads and bridges to external networks. The result is a multi-chain environment for Solution development that enables cross-chain registries and computation suitable for the TRRUE blockchain-based Solutions.

TRRUE Chain will be tailored to the use case of TRRUE SSI and its Aries standard, which stands as the comprehensive toolkit for DID Solutions and trust in the modern digital landscape. By implementing Aries, TRRUE will empower Users to issue, store, and present verifiable credentials while ensuring utmost privacy preservation.

Additionally, Aries facilitates the establishment of confidential and continuous communication channels, enabling a secure, cross-chain environment. In doing so, it boasts support for a variety of protocols, credential types, ledgers, and registries, ensuring adaptability to diverse contexts. With frameworks available in multiple programming languages (including RUST used by Polkadot Substrate), along with interoperability tools and profiles, Aries ensures seamless integration and collaboration across networks, making it an indispensable asset for fostering trust and security in decentralised DID systems such as the TRRUE SSI.
